Marcus joined Energizer in 1996 as a battery designer. He has been working in the Environmental Affairs and Sustainability area since 2000. Marcus actively serves in the battery industry work of the National Electrical Manufacturers Association (NEMA) and the international equivalents. He has a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Toledo.
Charles P. Monahan
Charlie directs regulatory compliance for Panasonic Energy Corporation. He has worked for Panasonic for over 24 years. In addition to his responsibilities at Panasonic, he currently serves as the Chairman of the Board of the Rechargeable Battery Association (PRBA) and Vice-Chairman of the National Electrical Manufacturers Association (NEMA), Dry Battery Section. He has also served on the Board of Directors for Call2Recycle since its founding in 1994 and Call2Recycle of Canada. He has BS degrees and an MBA from the University of Montana.
Steve leads Duracell’s Global Product Stewardship Group. With over 25 years’ experience in the battery field, he has been involved in the engineering, extended producer responsibility, quality assurance and research and development aspects of primary and rechargeable batteries. In addition to his involvement with CBR, Steve serves on various national and international standards committees. Steve is a graduate of Louisiana State University with a Doctorate in Electrochemistry.
